SuperWEB is extraordinary
- Fast, easy reporting from millions of individual records as well as from summarized data.
- Uses standard Internet Explorer and other browsers - no downloads.
- Integrated with the world's best Internet mapping package - ArcIMS from ESRI*.
SuperWEB Table View
SuperWEB is the browser interface to Space-Time Research's acclaimed online micro-analytical processing technology and embodies those characteristics that make Space-Time Research's content delivery and reporting solutions so successful internationally - extraordinary performance, elegance and ease of use.
The interface presents table fields / dimensions in a simple tree control, whether the data contains 5 dimensions or 300 fields. Fields are simply selected and added to the table. The list of fields is always present and users can quickly create custom tables from them.
Select the fields to use and add them to the table Row, Column or Layer (dimension). Fields can easily be recoded (banded). Filters can also be applied, for example, Males only or a specific date or area.
Behind SuperWEB is the highly capable SuperSTAR II tabulation and database engine - SuperSERVER. This engine can work off microdata (transactions) as well as aggregated data and provides astonishing performance.
Six 'Views' of Data
SuperWEB offers Six 'Views' of the data. Each view can be easily activated by simple clicking on the appropriate tab.
- TableVIEW is where the table is created, calculations added, fields grouped and data presented.
- ChartVIEW allows data to be instantly transformed into a variety of standard chart types.
- MapVIEW provides integrated thematic mapping using ESRI's powerful ArcIMS web map server
- ColourVIEW is used to highlight apparent relationships between variables in the table and identify cell values in defined ranges. ColourVIEW does this by painting each cell depending on the basis of relationship ratios or table values.
- RecordVIEW enables the underlying records making up a cell count to be viewed and then exported. This is useful for targeting and data checking purposes as well as accessing more information about the records.
- ExcelVIEW is enabled when Excel is installed on the user computer. By clicking on the ExcelVIEW tab that data is loaded into the familiar Excel environment.

Save Formats
Tables can be saved as Excel files and images such as maps and charts saved as jpeg files. If users have accounts they can save their tables on the Server for later use.
Multi-lingual
SuperWEB is fully multi-lingual with both the interface and underlying metadata being able to be accessed in different languages. More descriptive metadata can be accessed from other repositories.
Customization
SuperWEB's unique interface can be custom built from component pieces of functionality. This allows organisations to tailor the interface to suit various user audiences. SuperWEB can provide direct access to sensitive data over Intranets and Extranets and to public data over the Internet.
Meta information access and cell annotation
SuperWEB can access metadata repositories to provide additional descriptive information about the data. It can also display cell based annotations and footnotes for aggregated tables.
No plug ins
SuperWEB does not require any browser plug ins or applets. It is 'straight' dhtml which ensures all users have trouble free access. No cookies are used in SuperWEB.
