SuperCROSS is the Windows client to Space-Time Research's acclaimed online micro-analytical processing technology. It provides a powerful and intuitive graphical interface that has been refined over many years to meet the needs of the world's leading knowledge makers - national statistical agencies. SuperCROSS allows for the advanced querying of databases and the creation of multi-dimensional tables through its easy to use graphical interface.
Intuitive user interface
The simple user interface of SuperCROSS means only a minimal training investment is required in order to create complex tables. No programming is required. By simply dragging fields into position, complex multi-dimensional tables can be created. The analyst can bring an unlimited number of dimensions into the table for cross-tabulation and arrange them in any way required.

SuperCROSS is a high performance analysis and planning tool designed for anyone working with unit record or summary databases. SuperCROSS gives every user the ability to retrieve, aggregate and disseminate complex data. No matter how sophisticated the table or query is, the overall production time - from creating the table through to tabulating it - remains fast using SuperCROSS.
SuperCROSS accesses the speed of the SuperSERVER tabulation engine, resulting in instant query response times against databases with millions of records. The tabulation processing is conducted on the server while the front end is left free to create queries.
The power of SuperCROSS
For SuperCROSS, speed of cross-tabulation is just the beginning. Users can completely redefine existing fields, construct new field definitions and easily add a multitude of calculations or derivations to the table. No matter how complex the data, SuperCROSS takes hierarchical structures in its stride, conveniently handling time series, geographic and other hierarchies. The ability to drill down into a database is an important feature of SuperCROSS.
Direct access to underlying unit records
The RecordVIEW facility in SuperCROSS allows direct viewing of the unit records (customers, transactions, survey respondents etc) contained in a cell from a table. This enables easy targeting of selected customers for marketing purposes and macro editing of data for data quality purposes.
Relationship analysis with ColourVIEW
Also part of the SuperCROSS software is ColourVIEW. ColourVIEW is a simple and powerful piece of breakthrough technology from Space-Time Research that highlights the relationships between variables in a SuperCROSS table. This gives the user the ability to quickly identify areas of least to highest orders of importance through a color-coordinated presentation of data.
Built in Charting and Mapping software
SuperCROSS contains a built in charting library as well as a geographic mapping component to allow maps to be created of any data with a geographic classification such as a post code or state.
SuperCROSS's mapping can also be seamlessly connected to ESRI ArcGIS products such as ArcVIEW and ArcINFO.
Multi-lingual and Meta-information capabilities
The multi-lingual capabilities of SuperCROSS mean that both the software and the data being analyzed can be displayed in the language required. Meta-information capabilities are integrated with SuperCROSS.
This allows descriptive information be accessed enabling a better understanding of the data by users.
Confidentiality routines
Many of the users of SuperCROSS are studying highly sensitive data, therefore the confidentiality settings have been created to ensure that information about individuals is revealed only as required.
Weighting functionality for sample surveys
Users are able to further analyse information through automated weighting algorithms that allow for estimates of statistical measures, such as variance, to be calculated from sample datasets.
